The Hayloft

A luxuriously converted stone barn, The Hayloft sits at the head of the Glen. It is an ideal retreat for one or two couples and boasts a sauna on the ground floor.  Architecturally designed, with an internal open walkway – it has been awarded a 5 star rating. 

Whilst separate to Auchavan Stables, the two properties are neighbours and can therefore be booked together to accommodate a larger party. The Hayloft comfortably sleeps 2-4 people and is non-smoking. Children and pets are not permitted in this cottage.

The main living area is open plan and comprises kitchen and dining room downstairs and sitting room upstairs. The kitchen boasts a dual fuel range cooker with gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and TV.

Upstairs, the sitting room has a gas fired stove, Freesat TV, DVD player and a small library of books and DVDs.

The main double bedroom is on the ground floor with en suite bathroom, comprising bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Leading off this bathroom is the Sauna.

Upstairs there is a second double bedroom with en suite shower room.  All bed linen and towels provided. 

Downstairs, a tiled entrance hall gives access to a further shower room and a separate utility room with laundry facilities.

The heating is provided via underfloor heating on the ground level and oil heating upstairs.  There is a small private fenced garden  with patio, picnic table, BBQ and ample parking.
